The City of Okanogan was incorporated in 1907 and this year is celebrating its centennial with a variety of activities.
A group of volunteers, the Okanogan Centennial Planning Committee, is coordinating events with a variety of other groups, from the Okanogan Chamber of Commerce to Okanogan School District and from the Okanogan County Historical Society to local quilters.
The celebration kicks off with Okanogan Days the first weekend in June and runs through Incorporation Day Oct. 29.
