Winter's a great time to be outdoors
Folks who live in and visit Okanogan Country know that winter is a great time to be outside enjoying the area's winter sports.
In the winter, Okanogan Country's thousands of square miles turn into a wonderland of snowmobiling, cross country skiing, snowshoeing and winter hiking opportunities.
Throw in skating, downhill skiing, ice fishing, dog sledding, ice sculpting, sledding, sleigh riding, outhouse racing, snowshoe softball, bird watching and sometimes frigid fun runs, and you've got a winter paradise for all.
